OUR MISSION

The Agremiación de Estudiantes Afrocolombianos focuses its contribution on generating opportunities for people to be self-sufficient, action that allows them to develop comprehensively within society, providing job opportunities to people so that they can get out of poverty through their own job.

OUR VISION

The Agremiación de Estudiantes Afrocolombianos will be the non-governmental organization with the greatest ethnic-social commitment based on the education of human rights with respect for ethno-political plurality, emphasizing the different social, cultural, business and sports manifestations, taking as its central axis the integration and protection of communities with an environmentally responsible environment.

Our contribution to society is directed based on the following values:

Commitment. We are motivated by a feeling of solidarity and commitment to those who need it most. For us it is our responsibility to contribute to the communities for the improvement of the quality of life and the self-governance of human beings.

Integrity. With a transparent, reliable work with our solidarity donors and society in general, we promote the optimal management of resources and thereby creating viable and stable solutions that generate a positive impact on humanity.

Efficiency. Working with professionalism, seeking excellence in our work. We promote the formation of responsibility in each activity carried out for the integral development of the individual in society.

Creativity. We believe that a better future is possible through innovation and continuous improvement. This trust leads us, with a sense of urgency and a healthy nonconformity, to promote creative approaches to complex problems and the search for new models of support for human beings to improve the quality of life within society that can have a greater impact. We like to acknowledge and celebrate successes and learn from failures.

Opening. We are open to everyone, regardless of origin, race, religion or sex. Thus promoting social inclusion as a key to social transformation promoting tolerance and solidarity among people. We believe in the richness of working with others and achieving together what only then will be possible. We value and learn from the ways of working of other organizations and we encourage a spirit of collaboration in everything we do. We promote peace, coexistence and freedom. Our priority is people and the defense of their fundamental rights.

Delivery. We want to be useful and serve others, giving the best of each one. This vocation prevails in relationships with those who are part of the Foundation and with those who cooperate outside of it. At the same time, we demand ourselves with determination so that all projects and programs are effective and serve the fulfillment of our mission.
