Scholarships for a better present

Place:  National territory of Colombia.

Currently:

Valle del Cauca Department: in 1 Municipalities (Cali) Afro-descendant and vulnerable communities (extreme poverty).

​

Risaralda Department: Afro-descendant communities in 1 municipality (Pereira).

​

Tolima Department: Afro-descendant communities in 1 municipality (Ibagué).

Dates: 2004 - present.

Objectives:

​

• Guarantee an inclusive, equitable and quality education for the human being. ​

• Improve access, diversity and stability of the economic income of families with different degrees of vulnerability.

• Promote the improvement of the capacities of communities and organizations of Colombian civil society.

Beneficiaries:

Vulnerable population (extreme poverty), peasant and indigenous population, Afro-descendants, along with other groups involved: teachers, technicians, businessmen, universities and aid workers.

​

Title: Contributing to the integral formation of the individual through higher education through the application of an integral model.

Funded by: private sector, public sector ICETEX and AFROESTUDIANTES.
